First Day of School !

Going back into school, we were feeling ready to start this year off with an exciting start, after many weeks of planning and organizing.. Well, at least mom and I were (there were 3 particular individuals who were ready to continue summer vacation). Last year being our families first year of homeschooling, we were ready to start this year off better! With all of the trial and error last year brought, research, and advice from other homeschoolers, we have all learned a lot!

 With that being said, we figured, why not start this year off with a bang? And what better way to do that than going to the zoo?!

The day was filled with adventure and learning for them! Hudson and Savanah used scavenger hunt papers to write down things that they found at the zoo; Hudson has also developed a new love for maps because of the zoo map (just like his brother-in-law has)! 

This was the perfect way to kick off the school year, especially for the little ones. Tysun tagged along still managing to get his other assignments turned in that were due that day. Overall, it was a great start to an awesome school year ahead! :)
