Our First Year

Our first year was insane. We didn't exactly know where to start, and tried many different ways to learn, teach, and routines. Thankfully, all of that helped us realize where we needed to be and how to start things off on the right foot. There are so many memories from the first year.. some funny, some not so funny at all, and some anxiety rising events. We want to share our stories with you!

Memory # 1

• Sometimes, Savanah is hard to get up and moving (she takes after her mom); along with that, she can be extremely difficult to reason with. There was a particular time when she refused to do any school work at all unless she could where her flower girl dress from our (mine and Josh's--her brother-in-law) wedding. Why that made a difference, no one will ever know, but sure enough, as soon as she had that dress on, school could begin!
